Automated Molding Systems for Consistent Casting Production

SACPL operates automated molding lines at our Coimbatore facility for grey iron and ductile iron castings. These lines support the production of brake drums, brake discs, and torque plates for automotive applications.The automated systems maintain consistent mold density and dimensional accuracy throughout production runs, reducing variations that can impact casting quality. Our high-pressure molding equipment compacts the sand to create strong molds that retain their shape during metal pouring and solidification. This stability is essential for maintaining the tight tolerances required in brake disc, brake drum, and torque plate applications for passenger cars.

Our molding operations integrate with pouring systems to control metal flow into the molds at the right temperature and fill rate. We have well designed the pattern equipments to achieve geometries needed in brake components like mounting surfaces, friction areas, and internal features all form during the molding stage. Our automated process handles production volumes efficiently while maintaining the mold quality needed for sound castings. Sand preparation and reclamation systems support the molding lines, keeping sand properties consistent for reliable mold production throughout each shift.
