Lab
We have in-house testing laboratory to verify metal chemistry and material properties to ensure
accuracy as required for brake disc, brake drum, torque plate and valve components throughout production.
Material Testing and Quality Verification Laboratory
SACPL's quality laboratory handles material testing and verification for brake disc, brake drum, torque plate and valve items throughout production. Spectrometer equipment analyzes metal chemistry from each heat, confirming carbon, silicon, manganese, and trace element composition meets specifications before pouring. This chemistry data is recorded for every batch and maintained for customer traceability requirements.
The lab also conducts mechanical testing on samples cast from production heats. Hardness testing verifies material properties using Brinell methods depending on specifications. Metallurgical examination checks graphite structure in grey iron and nodule formation in ductile iron, these micro-structural features determine how brake disc ,drum and torque plate perform under thermal and mechanical stress. Tensile test bars are pulled from all heats to verify strength properties. All test results are documented and filed as part of our ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 quality system, providing the material certification customers need for automotive component supply.
