Foundry operations in
South India since 1987
SACPL has been casting iron components in Coimbatore for over three decades. We started with industrial valves and later expanded into automotive castings for passenger cars as the automobile industry continued to grow. Today, our 12,000 MT capacity foundry produces brake drums, flywheels, and other automotive components for customers across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
The facility handles everything - pattern making, molding, and machining. When all these processes are managed under one roof, it helps avoid coordination challenges and quality gaps that can occur with outsourced operations. Our team has deep experience in foundry manufacturing, and that knowledge goes into every automotive component we cast for cars.

Control
We've been casting brake drums in Coimbatore since 1987. Everything happens in-house-from melting iron to the final machining pass. This setup gives us something most foundries don't have: complete control over how your components turn out and when they ship.
Quality
Raw Material
Every heat starts with verified raw materials. Our suppliers send mill certificates, but we don't just file them away.
Inhouse
Machine Tools
Our CNC and conventional machines finish brake drums to spec without leaving the facility. No waiting on outside machine shops, no surprises with tolerances.
Quality
Testing
We check dimensions, run hardness tests, and verify material properties on every batch. The data goes into test reports that ship with your order.
Quality
Production
Our ISO 9001:2015 system isn't there to tick boxes. It tracks each casting from the molding line through inspection, so if there's ever a question about a batch, we can pull up the exact process parameters, test results, and production records.
Quality
Assurance
IATF 16949:2016 quality management systems successfully certified by TUV NORD
IATF 16949:2016 certification from TÜV Nord confirms our foundry meets automotive industry standards for component manufacturing. Our quality management system covers every stage like raw material verification, casting processes, heat treatment, machining, and final inspection. Regular audits verify that documented procedures are followed and updated as needed.
